Lugarawa Health Training Institute (LUHETI), an institution owned by the Roman Catholic Diocese of Njombe, has announced several employment opportunities for qualified Tanzanian applicants.
The institute is located in Lugarawa Town, Ludewa District, Njombe Region, and has been providing professional training since its establishment in 1998. LUHETI is fully registered by the National Council for Technical and Vocational Education and Training (NACTVET) under Registration No. REG/HAS/036.
The institution offers certificate and diploma-level training in areas including Nursing and Midwifery, Clinical Medicine, Pharmaceutical Sciences, and Laboratory Science and Technology.

1. Doctor (Medical Doctor) – 1 Position

- Hold a Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree.
- Have completed Teaching Methodology training.

2. Assistant Nursing Officer Grade II (Nursing Officer) – 1 Position

Required Qualifications

- Hold a degree in Nursing.
- Have completed Teaching Methodology training.

3. Assistant Medical Laboratory Scientist Grade II – 1 Position

- A Diploma or higher qualification in Library Studies or a relevant field.
The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting effective access to learning and reference resources within the institute.
5. ICT Officer – 1 Position

Required Qualifications and Skills
Applicants should have at least a Diploma in ICT, Computer Science, Multimedia, Digital Marketing, or a related field.
In addition to academic qualifications, applicants should demonstrate practical skills in:
- Graphic design
- Photography
- Video recording
- Video editing
- Public speaking
- Student recruitment campaigns
- Digital communication and promotion
The applicant should also have at least two years of relevant work experience.
