The allocated loans and grants are reported to be worth approximately TZS 535.7 billion, supporting students pursuing higher education in Tanzania.

The announcement includes beneficiaries of undergraduate degree loans, diploma loans, and the Samia Scholarship programme.

HESLB Loan and Grant Allocation Summary

The reported first batch includes the following categories:

1. Undergraduate Degree Students

A total of 74,769 undergraduate degree students have been allocated loans worth approximately TZS 246.88 billion to support their higher education expenses.
