World Vision Tanzania is looking for a qualified and experienced Customer Service Officer to support customer service, banking operations, savings mobilization, cash management and general business centre administration in Arusha.


Position: Customer Service Officer

Location: Arusha, Tanzania

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Accounting, Finance or related field.
  • At least 2 years of relevant work experience in customer service, banking operations or administration.
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office and data entry.
  • Strong communication, analytical, problem-solving and marketing skills.
  • Ability to work in line with World Vision's organizational values.


Main Duties

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Providing quality customer service and handling customer inquiries and complaints.
  • Mobilizing and promoting savings products.
  • Supporting banking operations and reconciliation.
  • Managing petty cash, payments and reimbursements.
  • Performing data entry and maintaining client records.
  • Managing office documents, files and business centre supplies.
  • Preparing reports and supporting compliance requirements.
