Tanzania Posts Corporation (TPC) Volunteer Opportunities 2026

Tanzania Posts Corporation (TPC) has announced volunteer opportunities for eligible Tanzanian citizens seeking to gain practical skills and valuable work experience in various professional fields.

The one-year volunteering programme covers areas including ICT, marketing, postal services, public relations, human resources, finance, transport, engineering, procurement, logistics, insurance and digital financial services.

Available Volunteer Positions

1. ICT Officer II – Network Administration – 3 Posts

Location: Headquarters and Mwanza

Applicants should have a Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems and Network Engineering, ICT, Electronics and Communication Engineering, Software Engineering, Cyber Security, Network Engineering, Information Systems or a related field.

2. ICT Officer II – Programmer – 3 Posts

Location: Headquarters

Applicants should have a Bachelor’s Degree in IT, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems and Network Engineering, ICT, Electronics and Communication Engineering, Software Engineering, Cyber Security or a related field.

3. Marketing Officer II – Sales – 33 Posts

Locations: Arusha, Dodoma, Katavi, Mwanza, Tabora, Singida, Njombe, Kigoma, Rukwa, Morogoro, Mtwara, Mzizima, Zanzibar and Geita.

Applicants should have a Bachelor’s Degree or Advanced Diploma in Marketing, Entrepreneurship, Commerce, Business Administration majoring in Marketing or Entrepreneurship, or an equivalent qualification.

4. Postal Officer II – 12 Posts

Locations: Dar es Salaam and Mara

Applicants should have a Bachelor’s Degree or Advanced Diploma in relevant fields including Marketing, Economics, Rural Development, Logistics Management, Clearing and Forwarding, Human Resources Management, Gender Development, Community Development, Development Studies, IT, Public Administration, Commerce, Business Administration, Education or equivalent qualifications.

5. Public Relations Officer II – 4 Posts

Locations: Headquarters and Mara

Applicants should have a Bachelor’s Degree or Advanced Diploma in Public Relations, International Relations, Business Communication, Journalism, Mass Communication, Fine Art and Graphic Designing, Public Relations and Marketing, or an equivalent qualification.

6. Human Resource Officer II – 2 Posts

Locations: Dar es Salaam and Mzizima

Candidates should have a Bachelor’s Degree in Public Administration, Human Resource Management, Industrial Relations, Manpower Planning, Human Resource Development and Planning, Commerce, Business Administration majoring in HRM, or an equivalent qualification.

Applicants should have a Bachelor’s Degree or Advanced Diploma in Accountancy, Finance, Commerce, Business Administration majoring in Accountancy or Finance, or an equivalent qualification. An Intermediate Certificate (Module D) offered by NBAA is also listed.

10. Quantity Surveyor II – 1 Post

Applicants should have a Bachelor’s Degree in Building Economics, Building Survey, Quantity Surveying or an equivalent qualification and be registered by AQRB under the graduate category.

11. Architect II – 1 Post

Location: Headquarters

Applicants should have a Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture, Interior Designing or an equivalent qualification and be registered by AQRB under the graduate category.

12. Engineer II – 3 Posts

Candidates should have a Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Chemical Processing Engineering or an equivalent engineering field and be registered by ERB under the graduate category.

13. Procurement Officer II – 3 Posts

Applicants should have a Bachelor’s Degree in Procurement and Supplies Management, Material Management, Commerce, Business Administration majoring in Procurement and Supplies Management, Logistics Management or an equivalent qualification. Professional Level III from PSPTB is also listed, and candidates must be registered as Graduate Procurement and Supplies Professionals.

14. Digital Marketing, Content and Product Performance Specialist – 1 Post

Location: Headquarters

Candidates should have a Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Digital Marketing, Marketing, Business Analytics, Information Systems, Communications or a related field. Relevant experience in social media, content creation, paid advertising, SEO, digital analytics and product analysis is required.

15. Partnerships and Cross-Border Trade Officer – 1 Post

Applicants should have a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Studies, Economics, Logistics or a related field. International exposure and basic Mandarin proficiency are additional advantages.

Applicants should have a Bachelor’s Degree in Economics, Statistics, Business Analytics, Accounting, Finance, Information Systems or a related field. Relevant business analysis or reporting experience is required, with advanced Excel skills preferred.

24. Credit Officer II – 1 Post

Candidates should have a Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Finance, Banking, Accounting, Economics or a related field. Relevant experience in credit appraisal, collections or loan operations is required.

General Requirements

Applicants must:

• Be Tanzanian citizens aged 18–35 years.
• Attach an updated CV with reliable contact details.
• Attach certified academic and professional certificates, transcripts and birth certificate.
• Have two guarantors who are Public Servants.
• Attach an introduction letter from the Village or Street Executive Officer or relevant Local Government Authority.
• Be willing to volunteer in the assigned area.
• Attach a copy of their NIDA.
• Have no relevant criminal or disciplinary conviction.
• Not have been employed by any public institution since graduation.

Foreign academic certificates must be recognized by the relevant authorities, including TCU, NECTA or NACTVET where applicable.

Duration of the Programme

The TPC volunteering programme will run for one year and is intended to help participants develop professional skills and gain practical work experience. Participation does not guarantee automatic employment in the Public Service.
